Celler Piñol Winemaker Dinner 6.2.2017


Our Winemaker dinners continue in February 2017 when Juanjo Galcera Piņol joins us to introduce his wines from Batea in Terra Alta. The prestigious family-owned winery has been a pioneer in the area, working hard to get acclaim in a previously underrated region.

Celler Piņol focuses on local varieties like Garnatxa, Cariņena and the local variety Morenillo, which was recently recuperated from near extinction. Luckily, a few older vineyards still existed, including Piņol’s single vineyard Finca Morenillo. Some French varieties such as Syrah, Merlot, and Viognier are also cultivated for use in blends.

During the event we will taste a selection of Celler Piņol’s finest wines together with a five-course menu built around them. The event is priced at 115€ per person, including both the wines and the menu.
